Small world mate,
I have not trained in Soo Bahk Do for quite a number of years, however I did see Master Hedges quite recently and he is fine.
I always remember my time studying with him with fondness (around 5 years). He is in my opinion the best kicker i've ever seen - including the movies etc.
Although I have changed styles since then, I still adapt the techniques he taught to the mma format.

Tang Soo Do for those who dont know =
60% Soo Bahk
30% Northen Chinese
10% Southern Chinese
TSD is both a hard and soft style, derriving hardness from Soo Bahk, and soft flowing movements from Northen Chinese systems.
edit:I cant belive i bought into this ^lies, lies. TSD is shotokan with a Korean name and an emphasis on hip movement.
Why the hell do american MA orgs always feel the need to call their system "american" i mean surely that is disrespectful to the original MA. Why cant they just acept that not everything good comes from the US? its all just Rex Kwan Do to me, with the stars and striped gi
(not that the above link uses stars and striped gi, i was just making a generalisation. however the stars and stripe yin yang made me think of it)
