i heard that once you start getting decent kicking power in tkd you start injuring your legs cause its all snapping power and stuff... is this true?

Naw das not true at all, where did you get that from lol. The better you get the stronger the leg, the more control you have over the leg, and more balance.You should not injure your leg if you know what you're doing unless it's an accident or something and not just because you're kicking too hard or w/e.
