So I got my third belt last night (Gold). It truly shows the effort one puts in to make it to a different belt. Being 35 years old I'm pretty out of shape and starting to feel a lot of imporvement in my body. One thing I have made a big improvement in is the health of my knees. I can walk up and down the stairs at work now and my knees don't hurt anymore. Working my legs out and stretching out my hamstrings 3 times a day has done wonders. I never thought my knees would stop hurting and worried about them especially when I started doing jump kicks at school.
I've learned a lot from this forum just reading. I don't post much and appreciate any feedback.
Also, one more thing. Does anyone realize how hard it is for a 35 year old, 6' 4", 300 lb giant to do "Burpees" is? Wow!
