Other elements as well, although we train the use of standard TKD attacks in a street mindset as opposed to just a sparring or sport mindset. I currently train in a style that we use (I assist) to train the Thai military and police and teach some of that to my students as I feel its necessary to be a well rounded martial artist. Also my main assistant is a pro muay thai boxing champ with 170 fights under his belt, but also a black belt in our style, he gives extra training to those interested in muay thai and western boxing. I train muay thai and boxing too for years but let the pro teach the specifics of that heh.

Right, and what posts would that be? What could I have said that would have prompted you to tell people not to go to my school when you have never been there or know anything about it? Not yet critiqued? The only way you could critique the school is if you came here and at least watched classes (or better yet get on the floor and try them), otherwise you should keep biased opinions to yourself. I assume you are just criticising my school because it is ITF and traditional whereas you come from a WTF sport school? Right? We bleed and sweat buckets in my school, we train to fight on the street, each class is at least a new set of bruises. I will openly admit you could probably kick most of my students butts at sport style sparring if we followed your rules. But we do not do that kind of training. I feel better knowing that in a fight my students have a better chance of surviving than a sport style student, I'm not really too concerned if they won't win a sport tournament any time soon. Is that why you criticise? I don't have anything against sport, it's just not what we are about and just because we are different than you (although we ARE the original style of TKD) and don't train to score points doesn't mean there is anything wrong with my school. You should take back your biased and uninformed opinion that people should NOT go to my school.

Even though it may feel that way to you, I have not yet critiqued your school.
