  • Is this possible

Alright I have a quote from a book and I know this move is impossible but some of these guys over on another forum beleive I am just making up this stuff and this move actual works. I need a little input from some other grapplers so we can shoot this down once and for all.

"I made a single leap to reach him before he could pull a knife or other weapon, and we collided. He went down. . . . I was on top of Fish, and although he threw himself into a frenzy of movement with everything he had, I wasn't budging. My legs scissor-locked in a stranglehold around his torso, pinning his arms to his sides and making the push dagger he'd drawn in our struggle useless except to scratch futilely at the ground. He got only one chance to jerk his head to the side in an aborted protest before I had his neck in my hands. I could feel his pulse beating wildly beneath my thumbs."

Back in the 60's, 70's, 80's it was the strikers with the BS and the nonsense. Now-90's to present-it's the grappler's turn for this utter BS for lack of a better term.
Who knows who's turn is next in the next decade. Maybe MMA?
It just never stops. So it seems.

        What horse shite.

Sounds pretty homo-erotic if you ask me. I'd steer clear of that nonsense.

What a bunch of ass. Your legs would need to be made of iron to wrap around someone's body so tightly it trapped their hands so they couldn't stab you.

Seriously now, any grappler here knows that it wouldn't take much effort at all to get your hands free from something like that. Sheesh.

"And then I used my ultra-secret-ninjutsu strike that paralysed him with a gentle touch." - so I made that up, but it's the same kind of idea.

That thing you quoted sounds like fiction, not fact.

            You shouldn’t pick on epileptics.

That sounds like a lot of poetic bull if you ask me. Now if I was this guy and wanted to make up a story like that I would at least take out all the frilly sissy words like futiley. Comeon who talks like that beside the Borg in Startrek? If you are going to talk crap then say "yeah I kicked this dudes ass while he tried shank me at the neighborhood brothel because I took his chick before he got his chance at her."

Frank Dux sounds like another Matt Furey. He comes up with total shit that angers legit ppl so they all get pissed and talk about it and before you know it he's become a star.

I think I should come up with a martial art and just make up tall tales about how good it is and how everyone should pay me ridiculous amounts of money to learn it. I'll call it Poop San Dux Ryu. It'll have some of my own moves and it'll borrow heavily from Dux Ryu and Joe San Do. Maybe I'll even throw in some Fred Ettish Fetal Fighting just so it works well on the ground.

It is more a literary piece I guess, like in the shootings in the old pulp magazines. "He shot his magazine out of his MP. After that I threw my knife. I heard a sound like it went into wood. But it was his head."

This is a story from no ordinary grappler, he's the one and only Frank Dux, ninja extraordinaire! No simple grappler could have beaten the Fish!
