  • question for people in Portland

I was recently paging though my schedule for Portland State University and noticed a few classes in the Phys Ed section that caught my eye. Apparently there is a BJJ class now being taught, as well as JKD.

The instructor's name is listed as "R. Clark", and he is teaching both the BJJ and JKD classes. Anyone know who this might be and what his credentials are? I thought he might be from Straight Blast or something, but there isn't any contact info listed for me to check with him.

    Thanks for any info.

If you find any good schools in Portland, let me know.

I run a regional directory for the PNW.

    Thanks,

    Spanky

I train at straight blast and I haven't heard of any of our guys teaching there. If you find out who it is let us know.

IMHO Sifu Jeff Patterson runs a good school in Portland.

I found out the guy at PSU is from Megaton academy in Eugene? They are a great school. You should be happy with the training.

That is great news, thanks for the info. The same person is teaching a JKD course there so I'm going to snag both.

            Thanks again.
