  • Bjj Instructors

What are the requirements to teach bjj.

  • #2
professing the value of MT, knowing how to fight on broken glass, and realizing that Bruce Lee would win a UFC. Not going to your back and only using throws doesn't hurt.

(technically anything above blue belt can teach up to their level, and only certified black belts can give rank)

        black
these days there is a black belt in most urban areas.
the satellite schools allow blue and purple belts to teach. i think a blue belt teaching is complete crap. especially if some his students are blue belts too. i have no problem with a purple belt teaching, that's much different.

          Belts

You have to take what you can get. A blue belt is better than nothing.

A belt holds up your pants. I'll gladly learn from anyone who has something to teach.

Not necessarily. Even a good blue belt may be a poor teacher. And the same goes for higher ranks as well.

Please keep that in mind while your searching for a place to train.

But I do agree with the 'take what you can get' par.
