If I was a guard that would piss me off big time. Maybe next they’ll add some gun smithing classes or perhaps an “explosives for fun and profit” class.

Deeter got a refund on his Maxim and Details subscription and instead got a bunch of teenie bopper magazines.

Don't tell me it's because of the articles.

        HA!

The 80's thread is killing me. I was about to say that it would split the forum between who though "herman's hermits" and Tiffany on that reference but you beat me to it.

BTW, DEBORAH as she now calls herself has done a lot of broadway stuff. Who knows what Tiffany is up to.

I guess if you ever leaned over to kiss a date and smelled "Electric Youth" on her neck, you know why DEBORAH is still working.

Best 80's bands.. bow wow wow, musical youth, scritti politti, a-ha, Doug E Fresh, The Time, Eddie Grant, and the Fat Boys... ok, not really, but it did bring back some memories, huh?

Ok, i'm stuck in 80's mode now...

Musical Youth, Big Country, Big Audio Dynamite, Flock of Seagulls, Glass Tiger, Survivor, Night Ranger, The Outfield, The Smiths, The Cure, Erasure, Falco, Men Without Hats, Devo, Hall and Oates, Kate Bush, and last but not least the man who taught us that
"Yess Yess Y'all, Uh Yess Yess Ya'll" rhimes with anything... Kurtis Blow.

... if it wasn't played with Martha Quinn, Nina Blackwood, or JJ Jackson as a VJ, it's not really 80's music.

                Nirvana

They had the album "Bleach" out in 1989. They're by far the best band of the 80's and the 90's.

                      You got that right Ronin.

Man a lot of good musical taste on this board that's for damn sure. Kinda sad you can't stop listing great 80s bands but nowadays you got the teenybopper crap, pimpin' minstrel clown MCs and bland sh!t like Matchbox 20.

In 1980s man you couldn't walk out of a record store empty handed and nows it's like "do I buy that Limp Bizkit or do I buy Christina Aguilera"? I guess they both got some merit but it's like McDonald's, it tastes good when it goes down but then 20 minutes later you RUNNIN for the nearest bathroom and promisin yourself that you'll never do it again, yeah rite.

I got some 80s stuff add that was off the hook:

                      Chameleons UK
                      Dead Can Dance
Shoegazer bands (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Curve, Lush)
                      Cocteau Twins
                      Crowded House
                      Joy Division
                      Love & Rockets

Plus you got Public Enemy, the baddest of them all

                        The Police
                        The Ramones
                        The Motels

                        Now 70’s

The other day I cut work and went surfing. Jumped into the truck and headed out. The waves were big, the sun was out and then Led Zeppelin came on the radio with Communication Breakdown. God help me, but after all this time it sounded good. Hit the amp and bust the speakers type good. I was amped.

                        Al liked it too.

                              I hear you, Mickey.

                              The Police RULED.

And I saw X at the Metro here (about 800 capacity), a show that just rocked my world. One of the tightest bands I have ever seen.
