You will learn to close the distance fast. In Jeet Kune Do, you learn to intercept the opponent's attack; this by default means that you usually-if not always-close the distance and fast.
    More opinionz?

Im lookin for a martial art that is good for long range (long range - distance that is too far to attack)

If u step-in(or you'll do it so fast it'll look like a jump) then kick or punch you'll perform a long range move

Theres no martial arts that are all about long distance. However most martial arts have long range attacks (example: Bruce Lee's step-in sidekick of Jeet Kune Do)

Im askin bout most effective long range attacks and most effective styles with long range attacks innit

      Man,
Reading your posts is a major headache. How about using real words and making an attempt at proper spelling?

TKD as it is commonly taught seems to develop into a style of long range only. Especially the sport versions.

You really just need to work footwork. If you are going only to box then you just better get ungodly fast at moving in and out of range and hitting fast and hard.

        or mississippi.

one of those answers is correct but as ryan pointed out your posts are gibberish. I'm leaning towards mississippi

          Long range martial art...

Long range martial art, also silent like ninja. Good for people who don't like getting hit.

Hempy, stop being retarded and smoking hemp. Just do a martial art, and get good at it. It makes no difference so long as you an excellent boxer. You should be able to get in close before they can work most of their kicks. Make them play your game, don't play theirs.... but wait.... do you even have a game?

I posted that picture up there for a reason Hempy. I am pointing out that there is NO martial art that allows you to close the distance against a skilled opponent without getting hit. Have you ever watched boxing? They get hit all the time every time. Thai boxing the same thing - they trade hits the whole fight. Any other full contact art - the same thing. If you are going to fight, you are going to get hit. What can you do about it?

You can continue boxing and learn to slip, block, and counter punch. Or, you can learn to Thai box and shield, counterkick and clinch/knee. Or you can learn some other art that also deals with how to take and give damage.

OR: You can do what most people do after three or four months.... You can think up an excuse to quit; which is what this post is really about.

My advice, go back to boxing and stick it out another six months. You'll be glad you did.

Im not goin to leave boxin.

All I hear about, however, Is that sum boxer was a victim of sum gang, all the time.

                  Why could that happen?
Why Muay Thai fighters never 'die'

Well maybe they use kikx? O_O!?

Id like to use kikx, but my damands r: They got to close distance fast. What the hell... Id like to use such punches too...

If you start kicking you won't step in. But you could step in with knees! Muay thai would teach you good knees.

sounds like you think u know everything, hempy.
Hey how about I ask you a question, you give me a suggestion, and then I'll shoot it down with remarks to make it seem like I know what the hell I'm talking about.
People give you these suggestions because they know what they are talking about, they aren't guessing.
