Good news for those of you who are Frank Shamrock fans. Its good to see him back in the game. Let me know how you think he will fare against Sak, Tamura and crew. I believe he will defeat them all barring a biased Japanese judge that has an opportunity to change the outcome. I'd like to see him fight Silva but I don't see it happening unless they can stage the fight in the U.S.

Frank Shamrock and Dreamstage Entertainment, the promoters of Pride Fighting Championships; have come to tentative terms on an unsigned agreement for Mr. Shamrock to fight exclusively for the Pride Fighting Championships.
“I am not allowed to comment of the terms, opponents or length of this agreement but I can say that Pride has made me a very generous offer for a series of fights; fights that the fans and I have waited for a long time to see.” Frank goes on to say, “With the last middleweight tournament Pride has proven itself to be the premier fighting event in the world, it would be an honor to get in that ring”.
“The fans have been asking for this for a while” according to the now thirty year old multi Champion. “Fighting is such a blast; I can’t wait to get started. The final delays at the end of these negotiations are sometimes a deal breaker but I am pretty confident it will go through.” He states in closing “I am ready to train and ready to conquer new challenges in 2004.”

The USA debut (of Pride), which has been talked of for years, this time for 3/26 in Las Vegas with Frank Shamrock and Kazushi Sakuraba as the rumored main event, is officially off.. According to Hideki Yamamoto of Pride, the problem was there company needed to have back secured contracts with some of them main eventer’s with more lead time to promote the show. It didn’t happen, and they are targeting September. However Pride did announce at a press conference this week that Shamrock had signed his deal with speculation of a May debut with Sakuraba, Kiyoshi Tamura and Hayato Sakurai talked about as potential foes…Dana White called Pride this week about trying to get a date on Sakuraba. He was told Sak would be taking six months off to heal…
