    • You don't need to be sarcastic and condescending. You also don't need to whine when proved incorrect.

In regards to 'killing one another' with knees and elbows, it can happen, but it is far from common. In addition, people can be killed with punches as well (as we have seen in a number of boxing-related incidents). Still, the human body is not as easy to hurt as you think it is, and people who hit much, much harder than the average joe don't cause one another to fall over dead with a single 'deadly' strike.

Also, I would hardly call kickboxing/MT matches outside of Thailand 'pathetic.' Have you ever competed? Somehow I doubt it.

        • Well at least you are starting to get it. Just forget your opinion because it is wrong.

I really don't know where you got the idea that knees and elbows are illegal in thailand. Makes me laugh, its kinda where the sport you know ummm, origionated. So why would they make knee and elbow strikes illegal if they were the ones that put them into practice in the first place? Doesnt make much sense now does it?

          • Im in the process of researching this again. All i was saying that in thailand profesional muay thai the use of elbows and knees is illegal. That is not completly true as i think that it is illegal to direct these techniques to the head.I didnt say at any point that these techniques arent taught, used and applied in training camps or schools in thailand. But ill keep searching and let you know what i find. You guys may in fact be correct in the end.

            • Now please dont read that wrong this time im talking about RING fights for pro fighters from thailand. The amount of power that can be deliverd with these strikes rules out their use in the RING.I dont know what rules people fight by elsewhere in the world.Im pretty sure(Not certain)that this is the case in thailand.

Ring fights in Thailand use elbows to the head and knees to the body, head and sometimes to the thigh.

You need to see Diamond Dekkers fights. Dekkers is a light weight Dutch fighter who lived and fought in Thailand against Professional Thai fighters. He would get cut badly from elbows to the head, but sometimes continue to fight to win by KO from superior boxing.

so, another form of stupid Non-KungFu tournament.....

therefore i conclude that kungfu doesnt join in UFC because of a FAKE stupid tournament......

Muay Thai, and all non-kungfu joins the UFC cause they are all stupid....

                          HAW HAW HAW

Apart from the fact that Kung Fu did join these tournaments, and were soundly battered.

                            • Lol I can clearly remember the fight between royce and some kung fu guy. As I said before the guy got his arm snapped in the first minute or so. He was completly outclassed.

I have also seen some kung fu guys in k-1. Yet again they get trounced.
