Brutal assault on girl
These types of brutal assaults are taking place every day in the U.S. and around the world (the assault in the vid clip took place in Russia). That is why it is a good idea to learn MAs and to take your training seriously and really learn to fight.
Some people might be saying I could have or would have taken that guy. You might be right but what if that guy pulled a knife, or had a club, or worse case a gun, or maybe there were two or three of them, then what would have done? It becomes a whole other story when weapons and, or multiples enter the equation.
Are you training to be better than the bad guy? Are you mentally and physically tough enough, and can you fight in all the ranges of combat, and against weapons? Can you effectively use knives, clubs, hasty (improvised) weapons or guns? If you take self-defense seriously this is what you need to know and train for!
In this particular case it is about awareness. She had no idea who was behind her or how close he was. She was alone and not aware of her surroundings. This could have been avoidable.
