  • good videos for a beginner

I'm in the USN and going to be gone for the next 5 months again. I will have spare time to train until I get back and maybe try and get a heads up of what MMAs are all about. I was wondering if you guyz could recommend th best videos for a beginner (I do catch on pretty quickly) to watch about grappling annd such,.....

The Cesar Gracies are a bit more for students who already know something. http://www.groundfighter.com/details/prodid/126.html Pedro vids are better. They will also give you the best overview of BJJ if you are taking that.

Beginners can range from starting to blue belt. it is more for the blue belts which is why I suggested the Pedro C series.

I bought the Cesar Gracie series a few weeks ago and they are good considering the price. I will have to agree though they are for a person who already has a bit experience but for $60 this series is a very reasonable buy. Cesar explains things well and tells you why you must do them, plus he speaks very good english. If you're looking to learn from scratch though, most reviews will tell you the Pedro C series is the best and it's probably true if you're a starter. Keep in mind these series are around 200 dollars each (although if you look hard you can find them for 150) and so if you're on a tight budget they might not be the best thing. I hope my post helps your decision, whatever it may be.

            Sincerly,
