I think it would enhance his reputation. It would show that despite petty prejudices from ill informed poor judges of character (such as yourself maybe? ). He was willing to give a loyal member a shot at being a moderator.

I dont think the term moderator is appropriate enough for how I would look after this place. I would prefer to be called "The Enforcer".

I would support Shimora as the moderator pending a short probationary time where he could prove his worth. Someone needs to step up.

I know exactly what i'd be getting myself into.
I have succesfully run more websites and messageboards than youve had hot dinners. I feel I have done my apprentice ship and am ready to step up and do my best for Mousels forum.

You are entitled to think im not up to the job. Thats why im requesting a trial period so that if im not up to the task I can graciously step down once the trial is over.

BTW, Goddess took me out for drinks Saturday night. LOL at all of you. Envy me. Seriously though, she said she has been really busy lately, but that she has big plans for the forum.

Also, I would like to be a moderater Tim. I have plenty of time to play on the internet at work, and if I get out of hand, you can always kick my ass in training.
