There have been a couple of really good articles about the Indian Arts in Back Issues of Black Belt magazine. I have them but it would take several hours for me to dig through my collection.

Check out the indian war dances many resemble battle senerios and could be a battle form or(kata) so to speak. They also did alot of grappling.I would check out naitave american festivals and ask alot of questions
