Have you ever noticed alot of MMA competitions like King of the Cage and UFC can be boring? Its like they just stay on the ground most of the time. Yea their are some cool things that happen, but most of the fight looks boring. Any MMA kinda things where it basically is all standup? Would that be K-1? What is the Lion's Den? All these fighters on my King of the Cage were from it, well most of them.

I take it you are the casual fan. Most of the guys on this forum are or have been BJJ guys, and I love to see the ground work. Once you have trained bjj you gain an appreciation for how technical that ground fighting really is.
If you are looking for a stand-up fight, then you probably are looking for K-1. I don't know that it is MMA as much as it is just kickboxing. Pride tends to bring their fighters back to their feet a lot quicker than the UFC so you may dig that, but there will still be some ground work.

Inactivity in Pride means not trying to go for a submission or not ground and pounding
Compared to RINGS it takes forever before they are stood up

As long as one side it really trying to do damage ( so not just prevent being stood up) the fight goes on

You can't honestly think Pride is a ground fighter friendly event. There is a definite focus on Stand-up because it is more exciting to the casual fan, and as a result they put guys back on their feet whenever they have a chance. If someone is working for better position instead of going straight for submission or punching the guy in the face they put them on their feet.
I am biased because I believe they need to let the fight develop naturally. You don't see them make guys get on the ground because they aren't throwing when they are standing do you? The UFC has this problem to, but to a lesser degree than Pride.
I don't think there is a gross tilt towards the Japanese fighters, but you have to admit their is a bias. Who can blame them? Japanese fans are the main base of Pride and they want to see Japanese athletes fight and win. I understand why, but you can't say that there isn't a bias. I don't think it's biased against Americans though, just all non-Japanese
