I was actually suprised to find negative resoponses on this thread, as I expected it to have more mature members than MMA.tv.

while we are here me old tong, there are some things you might find interesting about Thai Bri, i have recently found out a few things about him in real life, I went to Manchester to find him and here's what I found out.

1) as an ex military man myself, I called in a few favours and went to see a senior policeman in manchester, they have not one single man named Brian, but the Traffic wardens do. If you have read many of Bri's ramblings, i mean "posts", you will see that a recurring theme is that he is a tough policeman that does a lot of Muay Thai. Well...

2) I found him in the traffic division of the yellow jacket wardens administrating full time on a computer (the usual eh, computer nerd, full time, playing combat games etc) and saw him from a few metres away, he has the skinniest and most gimpy legs I have ever seen, this confirmed that he has never worked them out and that he cannot possibly have ever done MT before, this also confirmed that he is really a full time nerd, nothing wrong with this but not exactly the persona displayed on the good ol boards at defend.net . Well, I didnt have the heart to go up to him because I felt sad for him and he had terrible acne showing thru his white beard.

3) another recurring theme in his utterings, is the ""great buddy and adviser/tough guy consultant"" to Geoff Thompson, well, I spoke to Geoff and he also told me that (a) he knows no one in the manchester police (b) he knows no one named Brian at all and (c) he recalled some sad skinny guy approaching him sometime ago asking for an autograph, he felt sorry for the man and gave him an autograph, signing 'to Muay Thai Bri' on the card, this man stuck in Geoffs mind because the whole time he was kissing ass for the signature, the skinny man with matchstick legs kept on picking his nose.

I also spoke to the Bolton Thai Boxing Gym and they have never had a member named Brian, but their part time window cleaner is called Brian and is always picking his nose.

So, there ya go Tong, at least you know what you are inviting when you invite Thai Bri to meet up for a spar. I'll wager he never turns up

How quickly the tune changes.... You guys are too much!!! That is all pretty funny, but not suprising. Tong - it is true that I would not ask unless I really need it. My independent nature makes it VERY difficult to ask for help for ANYTHING, much less being this open on public forums. But I have nothing to hide...

I have a big tournament tomarrow - NAGA. The same one I won the last 2 years in a row. This time a lot of eyes will be on me as potential sponsers evaluate if I am worth their money, so the pressure is on. I will be sure to let you know how it goes...

Thai Bri - As my grandma used to say, you attract more flies with honey than you do vinegar and honesty is the best policy and treat others as you'd want to be treated.
