Has anyone had experience using suplexes of any kind on the street? It has been brought up that throws like uranage are quite dangerous if the person being thrown is unexperienced, but how many have used suplexing, and ended the fight with that one move?
I am fond of bear hugging my opponent in a clinch, and hoisting him up for a belly to belly suplex. My size and strength are good enough to pull this off rather smoothly, even with larger individuals.
But I have not ever done that to anyone in the street for fear of seriously hurting someone. Are my fears a good thing? Or is suplexing a good way of ending a fight right away? Or perhaps weigh the dangers to yourself too. A back suplex might mistakingly drive your own head into the cement if you miscalculate...meaning you may not get up. Belly to belly is safer, since you turn him over onto his back at the last minute.
What are your experiences?
