Second off, I also "met" Tank. I was walking out of a Black Angus and me and my little brother saw a guy that looked like Tank and he had a UFC jacket on. At first I forgot who it was then the UFC jacket reminded me of him. So he walks right past us when we're leaving and we yell out, "Tank!" but he doesn't even respond. I get pissed and vow to not cheer for Tank again, but I always do.

At first I was just picking on Macko, but by changing his words w/out telling anyone, he leads me to believe this may be a bullsh*t story.

Tank went to Cal State Long Beach (a state college, not a C.C.) when he has a BS in history.

You can catch a glimpse of him sometimes running along to beach walk in upper Huntington.

Good Grief! I never expected this to be such a controversy.
I guess if I had said "I then REMEMBERED he was fron HB" it would have avoided this. However;

1. I didn't ever edit my post.
2. Why in the world would I make something like this up? If I were going to go trolling, it would be something a bit more interesting than just saying hi to Tank in an airport.

3. I'm sure if anyone on here knows him, or ever talks to him, you can verify it. Also, why would I use such easily verifiable statements like:

a. the airport (John Wayne/Orange County)
b. the date (Wed the 13th around 2:30p.m.)
c. the gate he was at (He was catching a flight, not picking someone up, he had a suitcase with him.)
d. and yes, he was most definitely reading the newspaper.

You're right Mako. The "it could be him" was always there. I missed it. But how did you realize he's from Huntington Beach? You made it sound like it was written on his forehead. Huntington Beach is 10-15 miles from the airport.

And the airport is in Irvine, not Newport Beach (for the geographically illiterate). Between Irvine and Huntington Beach are 4-5 cities. You were stretching your observation there Mako. Admit it!

You're right. Of course I didn't look at the guy and say.. "Hmm, looks like he's from HB".. Like I said in a later post, I should have said "I REMEMBERED that he was from HB"

As far as the location of the airport, NB, HB, Irvine, etc. I have no idea. I'm from Texas, and i've made 2 trips to Orange County in the last month. (One to Orange, accross from "The Block", and the other in Cypress.)
I guess I know, very roughly, what cities are in Orange County, and figured that if he was from HB, it was definitely possible for it to be him, since it's the same area.

I'll give you this, i'm definitely geographically IGNORANT (not knowledgeable of) the Orange County area, (and all of L.A. for that matter) but would be more than able to read a map and find any of the locations, which would, from an academic standpoint, make me geographically LITERATE. (touche)

Anyway, Huntinton Beach, Long Beach, Hermosa Beach, Seal Beach, Laguna Beach, Yorba Linda Beach, Torrance Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita Beach, Compton Beach, WHATEVER! LOL!
You can't tell me that if you saw Tank walking around he wouldn't catch your eye!

Good Grief, if I ever meet anyone again, I'll make sure (even at the risk of life and limb) to get a freaking picture!
