Damn, just a couple of years ago, I got carded for buying some wine.
The check out clerk asked me for my ID and I am thinking to myself, damn why does she want to see my ID? I'm paying cash and not a credit card.
I told her that I am old enough to be her Dad.
She was embarassed.
well in her defense, I did have my UCLA T-shirt on.
Maybe that day, I looked like a preppie.

Well I never thought my name would be a discussion. My real name is "Cliff". The first ISP I used many years ago already had that taken for a user name so I tried different spellings until I came up with one they accepted, which was "klif". I have changed ISPs several times over the years but managed to keep "klif" as a user name. I kind of like it now and even have it written on a pair of gi pants in script letters.....
