There's a lot of stuff out there. I'd suggest doing a search and maybe checking out some of the big sites, like http://www.drsquat.com. You'll find links to other sites from there. I'd also check out the ameross website because they have info there. If you haven't been lifting for a while, you won't be ready for plyo's, though.
Well, it's hard to say, since I really can't see how you perform and I don't know how long you've been doing the routine, etc. I'd say if you've only been doing it for under a year, you're probably not ready yet.
ok fine...i am not that well conditioned...
i try to do it daily...and i'm not doing 500 of them either...
just started about 3 mo ago...
i guess i am not ready...
my question is, do i have to be at a certain level to incorporate plyo? What happens if i just started doing some plyo drills right now? Will something go wrong with my muscles?
I have an idea... why don't you get your a$$ into a dojo and train... maybe then you won't have to graze the deepest and darkest holes on the internet in the wee hours of the morning looking for info on new and improved ways of getting back in shape...
hehe seriously bro the body weight sh-t you were talking about sounds like its enough... maybe we'll throw in some running BEFORE we train--that would be weird...
No problem I hope they are useful to you. By the way , I would really recomend Don Chu's book, "Jumping into Plyometrics", since it includes a section on sports specific plyometric exerciese.
