Hi JKDBerlin, Iam glad you like the clip. Do you think you would be interested in an Instructional DVD from him? We are considering plans to make one in the near future.

        Thanks,
        Jonas

Well...I do have tons of grappling and JKD instructionals. Yes, I would be interested. Hopefully he shows some more positioning first, and works a little bit more close to his opponent, then I would go for it

          Greetings

The music doesn't fit the slow action and the dry camera position. You could improve the presentation of the video demonstration by circulating various angles, zooms, close-ups, etc. Combined with quickening the action and various other visual improvements, such as cutscenes, the demo clip could be much better.

From the perspective of someone who has rarely seen grappling in action, boy, these are positions often taken in prisons around the world.

              Thanks for the comments folks...

Actually, the 1st instructional will focus on a single technique, various entries, counters and follow-ups.

Camera work....when i shot this demo i wasn't palnning on releasing it on the internet. I just shot it after practice for a friend of mine..when he saw it, he asked if he could send it to people. Eventually more and more people wanted the clip so I made it available and put some music over it so you don't have to listen to us talking..lol

              Thanks,
              Jonas

                    Nice

                    Good Movement!

Will he be teaching anything on the figure 4? I'd be interested in seeing ANYTHING he has to offer.

I liked the clip. Nice fluid motions.

I am not sure how well many of them would work against a resisting opponent though... I suppose most would work if set up well.

I really liked the takedown at 4:33. very cool
