    Hello Badger,
I am a professional Martial Arts Instructor, i own my own school, have been the program director at another very successful (meaning we turned out quality instructors)school, was active duty military, i have been a Body guard (did not like it, boring) and a Bouncer at a very large club for a couple of years (exciting but dangerous), my instructor suggested i move to L.A. and do stunt work but can't stand big cities. each one helped me by providing me with experience. but the stability in martial arts is a school. it's the only way unless you are in the movies to provide yourself with security. i do not have a enormous school but it supports me. i'm happy, turn out a quality student or two and train alot. my girlfriend is my program director, i take time to train when i want, the school pays for my "toys" and training. my friends (students) visit me on a regular basis to test, train, etc. if i am interested in meeting an instructor i simply have them in for a seminar and get to know them. i travel around the u.s. and teach seminars, my students do the same. People who manufacture "toys" send me samples to show people and test them. i provide feedback and realistic testing. i set my own hours, make my own schedule and each day work toward improving myself and my students. i really enjoy what i do and think that i have the perfect job/life.
