it looks so useful because its a mixture of take downs, hits, arm locks, and holds. theres alot of fights in my school and im a small kid so i need the right type of martial arts to protect myself

Other than it saying wing tsun, there has to be some muay thai in that. In my knowledge, i've never known wt to incorporate that many knees. They had the plum going and everything. Too dramatic for me though. I'd be careful.

nope thats ALL wing chun. WIng Chun has varous tec. with kicks, knees, elbows. The theory is that u can use your knees, elbows etc... for striking if you're on your opponent's blind side. But there are tech. that i havent learned so...

Oh well like i said, i've never known that so you may be right. But could it be possible that it's just his own modification? I mean, that's way more knees than i've seen a wt/wc guy use before
          You're probably right though
I just need to catch up on my wing chun i guess
Im working the dummy now, and in the form im doing, there are only two type of kicks, and both are below the waist. and one is more of a stomp

This is a great promo video, but as far as I can tell nothing impressive about SD. While the attacker is going at half speed and throwing just a few strikes at first, the instructor is going full speed, there was no aggression from the attacker after he threw his first strike or combo. It looks like the instructor knows a thing or two about grappling but his students didnt do jack when they were in a grappling situation, their punches were pulled, and not half of them were not even directed to hit him. Yet he throws his flashy stuff full force? I think its BS but thats just my observation.
