No Kidding! OK, first of all Taunt-o got it right, that is the guy. I think I will go by his place and see if things have changed. If not, I will attempt to point out to Kabayama or Steven what I think the weakness is (and it was only training method last time I was there), and ask him to show me how I am wrong. Now if you think I am going to go in alone and start a fight, you are a retard. No training is required for multiple guys to pummell a lone person

You cant accidentally wander into the Boothill saloon and not realize you are there ... virtually anyone is welcome who does come in though we are mirrors, we reflect your attitude right back, so how much fun you have is up to you....the standing joke is we have seen everything except a black cowboy in a wedding dress tourist come in OFTEN just to buy a boothill T shirt however by the time the sun goes down and the kiddies and tourist all are safely in bed there are enough bikes and their owners out front to let you know you might be happier down the street at the oyster pub...or the shark lounge

no one starts a one on one fight in a biker bar anyway...you would have to be daft...club rules REQUIRE you to help a fellow patch holder in trouble...you dont start a fight with A biker, you pick a fight with his club...when fights do break out the bouncers are OUTNUMBERED big time...it isnt like tossin drunk frat boys and account managers from the local sports pub believe me. you NEVER gang up on a customer/biker He will be back with a whole lot of friends....

You don't know the name of the instructor. It was a PFS affiliated school, but you don't know the name of the guy YOU WORKED WITH - yet you're sure he was one of Vunak's top guys? Dude, it took three other people to research your own experiences before you got it right. Knob...

You're saying that JKD as taught by Paul Vunak is junk. You seem to think that saying things like that is just good manners. You're evaluating a system created expressly for the purposes of winning real street fights by the standards of a tournament jiujitsu or MMA ring. Worse, you're saying that the methods developed by Paul are "shit" based on pure ignorance. Not only are you completely unqualified to talk intelligently on Paul's systems, it would appear as though you're not even qualified to name the "top instructor" you trained with without the help of others. You're a complete wingnut.

Thanks for backing me up, everyone, but like I told nuthugger - this discussion was never about what I've accomplished. It's about the fact that nuthugger says Paul Vunak's entire system is crap (I don't care how you try to backpedal or squirm - that means you're insulting Paul directly) based on a training session he had with some mysterious "Top Guy" whose name he can't even remember. This was always about some pantywaist wannabe talking smack about a guy who has legitimately done more for all of our arts (even those who don't like him) than nearly anyone else out there. Paul was there when Rorion came up with the idea for the UFC. He was training in BJJ for several years before Royce walked in the octagon in 93. Paul has been on the absolute leading edge of functional, reality-based martial arts for longer than nuthugger has likely been alive. He was an instructor under Inosanto at the Torrance academy, and the co-owner of the first ever savate school in America. He's produced more high quality instructional tapes than most TV sitcoms produce episodes, and he's written more than ol' Nuthugger is probably capable of reading. But that doesn't stop WonderPunk from trashing everything the man has developed, worked for, trained, and created by calling his entire system "crap." No, you're right. That's not offensive or rude at all...
