Hey all,

I recently saw the bonus material on a JIM Belushi movie, the title of which I don't remeber and am to lasy to look up, but it also starred Tim Allen. In this I found out that Jim does BJJ, and apparently a lot of it. I found this interesting and wondered if any of you knew any other actors/actresses that do MA. I know for a fact that Lucy Liu from Charlie's Angles does FMA.

Ed O'Neil (Played Al Bundy in Married with Children) is a brown belt at the Gracie Academy in Torrance.

Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile, Daredevil) also trains there. He was a blue belt when I was there last year. Don't know if he's graded up to purple yet or not.

imagine going to class and rolling with al bundy. not only that, but he is a brown belt, which means he is an awesome grappler.

Guy Ritchie trains and is very good actually. I'm told high blue belt. Shawn Williams told me about it, he was training him out in NY and I think now still. Shawn relocated and is teaching in LA now. Anyways, Ritchie is also known as Mr. Madonna, lol.

Al Bundy Jiu Jitsu

pretty soon al bundy is gonna be a blackbelt. imagine enrolling in Al Bundy Jui Jitsu, how great is that. Team Bundy, going to tournaments and and giving seminars and coaching mma fighters lol. and the greatest thing is, even though his name is really ed oneil, he will forever be known as al bundy for that role just like the dude who was steve urkle will always be stuck with that character.

who would win in a fight, al bundy or bruce lee?

bruce lee was great but brown belts in jui jitsu are pretty damn good grapplers and bruce lee didnt know grappling that well.

Yeah, Maynard of the band Tool....I've rolled with him, years ago when Rickson's school was on Pico Blvd....he was a blue belt then..he is very technical, very tough, he trains with "the people" in the regular classes, as well as getting some private lessons from Rickson

Here's another couple of minor celebrities that like to roll.....that little twerp who was in that film "Jerry McGuire", he played the little kid...he used to roll at Rickson's when the school was in the Palisades. And remember that show on TV called "Blossom" a few years back? That girl who played Blossom, Mayim Bialak, or something like that, used to roll with Rickson's school at UCLA....don't know if she rolls now or not.

Does Nicholas Cage train with Royce doing private lessons?

Then of course there is Rikki Rachtman, that former heavy metal/club personality that has a purple belt with the Torrance School and is supposed to be pretty tough. And I think one of the members from that band Poison is a purple belt. Not clear on that though....
