Short answer is...just do judo because the rest are bollocks.

The longer answer is judo will enhance most physical attributes of yours I can think of, and it's usually guaranteed to be of a certain quality because it's regulated in most civilised countries. You actually get to fight people, albeit it's pure grappling but I think that will give you so much more than most aikido, kung fu or karate classes many of which don't actually do that much decent sparring.

If you really hate grappling and you're determined to do either karate or kung fu then make sure you look hard at the class and that you aren't taken in by their various excuses for things or distorted depiction of what fights are like and the kind of things you will be able to achieve during fights. I think that kyokushin karate sounds pretty good. It has a pretty brutal reputation but people will think you're hard if you do it and you probably will be pretty sharpish.

I know there will be those who believe that in their karate/kung fu class it's different but I am only speaking from my own personal experience of these arts, which has not really been promising. I had a lot of fun with judo and i've thrown people in real fights and scuffles I had.

I had never heard of Jukado. It sounds good, in theory. But it also seems like one of those arts that is more about the instructor and school, if they are good then it could be amazing.
Because you could fuse all those styles and end up like some of the Hapkido Mcdojos out there. Hapkido is a good idea too, but only when taught by a legit instructor and in the company of serious students.

                  jukado

I am not familiar with the art of jukado
I know there is a facility in westbrook maine that teaches that art and could get more info for you.
However i have been studying the art of ninjitsu a selfdefense art brought to the u.s by stephen hayes
he learn't the art of the ninjas while in japan. i have trained and spoke with many students who have taken various types of martial arts and they all tell me this is the best.

Because all the people who told him so just happen to study ninjutsu.
