    When I went to his seminar a few years ago I did not wear a Gi to the academy. I wish I had a picture of the expression on his face.

    I think the "challenge" example you provided is more common than we think. He looked like he wanted to fight me right then. I mean a cold stare and tight lips, he was even standing like he was ready to fly across the room and sock me in the jaw, ya know? The "look"? I smiled real big as I recognized the posturing and gave him the once over. After I introduced myself and my son and asked him for picture with my boy he relaxed a bit....We don't get too many high level players up here in the Redwoods.
