I get every thin but the ground drills thing do you mean put the bag on the ground and work on position and ground 'n pound skills of hang the bag and work on shots/takedowns and stuff like that? also what do you think of the new ground striking bag by combat sports intl? What about throwing dummies?

I mean everything you said plus putting the bag on my chest and working from the guard. Bucking and shrimping, airplaneing, working strikes, and locks. {simulating} Throwing dummy sounds ok as long as it at least 100 to 200 lbs, anything less that that would be too light for me.

I haven't seen or read about the ground striking bag but I'm all for new ideas.

Of course nothing beats a dojo full of big sweaty 260lbs ukes.

          hey

my mma coach hooked a trunk bungee cord around a grappling dummy in such a way that you could practice arm bars, and another school has a heavy bag used for groundwork that had some kind of arm taped to it.
