I haven't heard and was wondering how you and your guys did at the GJJTA nationals. We had one guy win the blue 125(?) to 134(?), another win the blue open, one lost to Rener, and one to have the longest match. Thats about it for us how about you guys?

      Thanks Klif,
      Estrangulo, Congratulations!!!!
I felt good with what we did. I had two very good fighters at the Mundial and one that stayed home because of finances.
I hope to field a larger team next year. One of the guys, Pete Torres, had the longest Purple Belt match. He was barely beat on points by Freddie Trillo in an awesome match.
Pete was our only team member not to recieve a medal, however he showed more heart the anyone giving up 25 lbs. to Freddie and then 40 lbs. to Greg Eldred in the Open. Pete just missed getting Greg in an armbar before losing on points. Pete is from Dallas and trains mostly with Alan Mohler, but trains with us when he's down around Beaumont. You could see from Greg's expression Pete was close to getting the armbar, but Greg is super tough. All in all we had a great time & saw some great matches.

Hey Hawk, how's is that murder trial (I think it was murder) going? I know you mentioned it about a month ago, just being nosy.
