WJJ... pretty cool logo, although as soon as i saw it, i thought of this logo:

Uhhh, Karl, I saw your psychological profile and was studying your interpretations of the Rorshach ink blots.

In every ink blot you saw something BJJ related.

#1 "patient sees two men grappling in a snow storm

#2 "patient sees one man on his back, applying a Jiu Jitsu referred to as a triangle."
Note: look up research on Jiu Jitsu on the ergonomics of placing one man's head so close to the other man's genitals." this may be in reference to some latent tendancies stemming from some childhood traumas which have be repressed and layered over by nominal positive experiences which were dispersed by neuron transmitter failures.

The rest of them are confidential, still analyzing responses with Institute for criminal disorders.

Karlinhos - Triangles in Jiu-Jitsu logos are very common. Rickson Gracie, Fabio, Gracie Academy, Rodrigo Vaghi (another logo and website I designed at http://www.submissionjiujitsu.com), and tons more all have a triangle somewhere in the image. The TDC logo was done in literally 5 minutes and there was nothing in front of me to influence the design.

I do graphic design for a living and take stealing designs very seriously. I hate it when people copy me, and I respect others enough not to purposely copy them.

Anyway, just my two cents..........

WJJ - i understand and truly believe that you didn't rip that design off.

i am familiar with the triangle being the dominant shape in BJJ logos, but it's just that fabio's is a little off as yours was and yours was an inverted version. fabio's triangle is "different" from the norm, as is rickson's (with nike-type swooshes).

no offense intended. it is a cool logo, especially for a 5 minute jobber. keep up the good work!

I'm definitely impressed by the imput!

I will present all the logos Thursday night in class, and see what everyone thinks.. but I would have to say the front-runner right now is WisconsinJJ. Very nice design.
