NEED FLORIDA FIGHTERS FOR JAN 13... please read...
The Free-Style Fighting Championship will be taking place in Davie, FL on January 13 at 4:00pm. Davie is about 30 minutes from Miami. We are still looking for one lightweight (155 and under) and one heavyweight (190 and over). We are also accepting alternates for middleweight (156 to 189).
The rules are basically NO time limit, all strikes allowed except none to the head, groin, or spine. So leg kicks, knees, etc. are legal. On the ground, striking is still allowed but with the same rules. So body shots, knees from the sidemount, etc., are all legal on the ground. All submissions are allowed. Each weight class has 8 men. The winner wins a nice championship belt. There is no prize money and no application fee. Each fighter can bring a coach free of charge. This includes alternates. Even if an alternate doesn't fight, he and one person can attend the event for free.
