    Im small 5'2 115lbs male 20yrs old (bad genetics) and im sick of getting my ass beat, i've got heart (never afraid to fight) but sick of losing please I need help, what MA should I do and what workout, (people please help me here dont give me pointless advice)

    As for which martial art to do? I'd look into jui-jitsu personally, but thats only me if I were to put myself in the shoes of a 5'2 115 lber.

        indeed theres a really small guy at my gym probably 5'0ish and 105-110ish and ive seen him submit guys who weigh 140 lbs. Also, you could look into boxing/kickboxing/thai boxing because featherweight is a really exciting class full of insanely quick, tactical fighters(awesome to watch). However, if you are interested in self defense realistically, it would be damn near impossible for you to stand a chance against 6'0 200+ pounders on the street, so if anything you could possibly carry a gun/knife/pepper spray. Also, im not trying to say you have to but gaining some muscle and increasing your strength and general fitness goes a long way for self defense.

          If you're not athletic then it might not help you. I would suggest then carrying some sort of non-leathel weapon. I just menton it because from your post it doesnt seem like your an athletic type of person.

                im athletic but reach is a bitch... and so is physics... however im extremely athletic, muscular wise i mean, can bench close 2 twice body weight and if i worked out i could prolly put well over 2 hundred up, but physical fitness isnt so much the issue as the reflexes i need and footwork and such to make up for my negative leverage and reach in a real situation.
