Genman MMA fallen in the wrong hands?

Hi guys 'n Gals,

Saw a special on the german TV about the MMA scene there, seems this has fallen into the hands of the extreme right.
Most are only in it for the violence, as is the public
Public scands Hoonara which stands for Hooligans Nazi's and Racists and this is considered a compliment
As for the fights itself.... well a person with a few years of Trad karate and Judo plus 2 months training in a proper MMA gym will do better than these guys, groundfighting is limited to ground and pound ( real groundwork isn't appreaciated by the crowds) and standup looks like what you see in Bumfightvideos
All in all not something you could present to the general audience or where one would send his kids to
Do you think the real MMA people can do anything to get a better name?

German National socialism is and was in no way a form of socialism, it is a form of fascism which is extreme right

Here in Europe, the first 2 are clasified as extreme right as is the behavior of the hooligans

Low skilled fighter who are in it for the violence as is the audience, when a fighter has to submit to an armbar or a rear naked choke he is considered a sissy, which shows they do not appreaciate a technical fighter

where you see vips sitting at ring/cage-side during Pride, UFC or K1 events, showing that they are getting accepted by the general public, this will not happen in Germany because no VIP in his or her right mind wants to be associated with these people ( audience scanting HooNaRa) just to watch low skilled fighters banging elbows to the back of the neck

Extreme left with violent treehuggers and socalled "antifascists" ( the use of violence makes them fascist themself)

Where the Left used to be anti religion, the extreme left is not they are in fact the biggest bunch of Dihmmies ( people who adjust to islam without becoming muslim)
Women being treated as second grade people in christian churches and they will speak about it, same happening in Mosks, "well that's their religious right to do so"

Extreme left and right have very little to do with the mainstream left and right
To my opinion the 2 most succesfull periods of government were so called purple cabinets where the left and the right were in the same cabinet ( our system demand parties cooperating to form a cabinet)

Could tell more about how it work in my country but to shorten it a bit, left and right are old fart terms that apply less and less, maybe not yet in your neck of the wood but overhere for shure

Left, right, conservative, liberal, Republican, Democrat, etc it all means the same thing...its someone with an an idea about how THEY can manage YOUR life better than YOU or some other asshole....they are all out for thier own cause and all full of shit...

Face it people the whole point of politics is to do one thing while convincing you its another....for instance, Lets limit American rights and freedoms infringe on the constitution and well call it .....ugh....I know....THE PATRIOT ACT if that doesnt sum it up, nothing does....

If the Nazis and Communists were both socialists, why were they such bitter enemies? Why were the Nazis allied with extreme-right governments in Spain, Italy, Romania, and Japan? (Yes Nazi Germany was allied with the Soviet Union, but as a deception).

It is true though that once you get to the extremes of ideology, in practice there is little difference between the two. One puts the concept of nation (usually including race) above all others, the other puts the party.

Also that in US politics, a right-wing democrat may have very similar views to a left-wing republican. Yes, I agree that right and left are relative descriptive terms, politically.

Right-wingers can still be revolutionary - witness the Contras and Hitler's Brownshirts.

Hehe, the worst to come out of UFC or KOC or even lower rated promotions, would kick ass of these guys.
It doesn't take the best, it just takes real Martial Artist with proper training

The pitty is that because of these guys, the people with real potential do not enter the MMA scene

Oh forgot to tell that to make thing more "Spicy" they placed 4 metal fences around the ring ( so it looks like a cage)

Personally it was only after watchin my first Pride event, that I started having an interrest in MMA, UFC never did that and still doesn't very much ( still can watch the whole event in 1 or 2 go's)
Now I've done several MA's amongst which MT/Kickboxing ( is the same overhere in the Netherlands), Judo and Savate, can you imagine what it takes for the general public to accept MMA ( if we want that) seeing that they seem to think traditional karate is aggressive/violent

Can you imagine what the German general Public must think of MMA or even MA in General because of it ?( guilty by association)

Oh how nice would it be if teams of other countries would come to fight and make all these German fighters tap out time and time again

So we had some coverage this summer pretending that the Free Fight scene is big into the hands of right wing brutalos. The Free Fight Association germany for example has a campaign "Mut gegen rechte Gewalt" (guts against right violence) which is totally against right-wing violence. Other promoters have banned people with political messages on T-Shirts. There is an active scene fighting the influence of right wings in Free Fight over here!

I'm glad to hear that, would be nice though if only recognized promotors/associations got permission to hold MMa events ( here in holland you offically have to go to the police to ask permission to hold a MA event, any MA event)
Although that might push it underground
