I'm a big believer in the "any given sunday" thing.. where anyone can beat anyone on any given day... but alot of people feel that is in inaccurate description of that fight....

I didn't really pay much attention to his defense. Just thought it made a good point.
As my original instructor used to say, what happens if you slip and fall? That's the sort of potential x-factor you face in the real world, where skill vs skill, conditioning vs conditioning isn't enough. There's that itty bitty touch of random chance that has to be considered. Some call it luck, while others may call it something else. Regardless, its a fact of life that is exacerbated outside the ring, dojo, etc.
