Taking his air
Tight waist: while in control of your opponent after the takedown wrap your arm around his stomach extremly tight and put the tips of your fingers on his floating rib and dig in. 30 seconds of riding time with a tight waist on will take the air outta most anyone.
In the gaurd elbow: while in your opponent's gaurd take your elbow and place it in the soft spot underneath his sternum and lean forward, watch out for an atempted key lock (i call em turkey bars) and dig your elbow down as hard as you can. Hurts and if they want to just deal with it it'll suck the air out real quick. Keep them occupied with the left hand. It also works like a can opener and can break the gaurd to people who are new to the technique if you attempt to pass while you do it.
Key lock the body with the legs: you can have fun with this one if you have great balence and posts on a medicore wrestler. It's legal in even highschool wrestling. I'm not going to insult you on how to key lock the body. If you don't know how pm me.
Forarm in the throat: self explaintory. as well as covering the mouth with your hand, shouler or head.
With the tightwaist try a crossface at the same time, if you get the crossface good and deep, the sideways crank of the neck messes up the air flow even more.
Also in any sport that allows closed hands on the ground ie anything except straight up wrestling, keeping the bodylock around the floating ribs even after the takedown works wonders.
use any of these and your oppent should look like this >

Well, couldn't hurt to try anyway...
Originally posted by Bjjexpertise@beDidn't work out too well for me, jubaji. Probably because I'm just not used to it. I usually leg ride and probably the only moves I do when my foot comes out is the 3/4 stack and the ball and chain if I can get it.
Bummer. Well, its sort of cumulative. Accelerates the rate at which your opponent gasses. I guess you wouldn't 'see' something dramatic at the very moment you do it unless you are pretty damn strong. Anyway, if the leg rides are working for ya you might as well stick with 'em.

That is also good. Just be careful where you keep your weight so you don't get rolled.

About getting rolled while applying the tightwaist. It's a folkstyle wrestling move so it's usually used in conjunction with a halfnelson or cross face and your already perpendicular so if he wants to try and roll let him and control it, cuz if you have the tightwaist with the right arm your on his left side, he's going to roll right and thats the way you want him to go, just post above your head when he goes for it. Plus if you have the cross face he's not gunna roll you. If you get the cross face after the tight waist and you know how to wrestle at ALL, he's going to his back with you in side control, no questions asked really. Just drag him up and to your right, if it's a left handed tightwaist, up and left. Block his knee with your foot or your knee if you have too. I strip off tight waists pretty quick though u just get hand control and rip it off. So the tightwaist is used more as a set up later in the wrestling game.

30? Really?

LOL
I've been in a couple thousand matches, and I'm telling you that you can't take anything for granted.

on say your in a mma fight. you throw 4 leg kicks and for each one the guy drops his hand to block the kick. What are the chances if you throw the next kick high or kick and then follow with a same side punch to the face that it's going to land?
