You look pretty fast, though I'd have to see you in person to actually determine that lol. How long have you been practicing wing chun?

Hi Jamie, you're quite fast. I train in Wing Tsun and i am thinking of cross training in the next year. So I have some questions for you:

          1. Please define WC hardcore training.
          2. Beeing a WC-MT fighter how's your footwork - I gues you use more MT steps because of MMA competitions.
          3. What are your kicks.
          4. Do you chi-sao.

That's about all for now. Cheers.

basicaly trainig where you know what you want and you aim to get it lol. Nah its caus I was just 8 when I started, I got good at 12 and was doing chisao comps. Id say I use a lot of wing chun footwork as Im comfortable with it. I also fight with wc concepts. eg vertical fist(centerline), sticking as the approach, follow as they leave. I also stomp when I kick(sidekick mostly), chisao is great for developing reactions and a feel of attacking and defending. It helps people learn to commit, and seems to help me with anything I do. I could go to a sambo class tomoz(which I have never done) I I would not feel like a beginer, certainly not in fighting. ((swis Ive sent u a pm. spit

I think its important to find they type of speed thats suits you best, eg initiation, reactions or movement. If you break it down like this you will be able to devlop these individualy. If anyone wants to see some "unorthadox" training , developing initiation etc. Anybody can put links of themselfs here dudes. This one can be SPEEd, we will make power and prescision etc. See different examples. peace and respect spitfire

Well my MA background sucks basically lol. I took Arnis/Kali/Escrima for a little over half a year then I noticed that I don't like using weapons and I'd rather use my arms/legs when I was doing some of the empty handed vs weapon stuff. I have been looking for somewhere to train in muay thai for a long time but never found one. Ive been studying bjj for aobut a month and most of my training is by myself from instructional videos and studying fights. I know it isn't considered a "background" but hell its better than nothing :P

We all start somewhere, get into if you enjoy it and it is good for you.\

I didn't find a good martial arts place until recently, and it is quite a drive away. Now that I'm in it, its good to have a place to pursue passions.

Mate thats well cool, I have total respect for people who take things into their own hands. Although I have had a lot of training, most of my breakthroughs were my own personal development. Good for you mate, so many people will try and tell you, you cant learn yourself etc... They just buy the propeganda. If it works it works. keep on trainig. If you want to learn some muiy Thai, I would send you some vids, I havent had much time recently. Ive got a fight on the 11th dec lol, so ive been a busy bee. respect The spitfire

Hm actually I have some instructional videos for muay thai, one shows almost everything about it before the fighting phase( stretching, handwraps, some bagwork) and like 2 others which include the fighting. And btw your video isn't working for me, neither is the handsnap video. Oh and gluck in your fight

They just take ages to load

They do eventually I think, If you got a dial-up it will be slower. If you got broadband and youve waited, well shiver me timber I have no idea. They work for me. Take it easy dude, train train like mofo.
