Yep, that's the reason why every other style of competitive grappling I've seen has rules to prevent you from "stalling" like that.

theres a technique similar to that in muay thai as well. u have your palm under his chin and you can grab his hair too with the other hand as u push his head back, and u put one of your legs behind his so u can literally smash his skull into the floor. and people think muay thai is all sport. despite what people think muay thai actually contains alot of takedowns, throws and sweeps, and some of em are meant to injure by crashing you on your skull. they arent allowed in the ring, but are taught for self defense.

yeah as i said, most people dont know of the sweeps and takedowns in muay thai, they just train for the ring. muay thai has lots of self defense techniques as well as takedowns, trips, sweeps, and throwdowns from the clinch. anyone u knows anything about muay thai already knows this.
