I think most of the people here are here to give advice or get advice... so if it annoys you so much that I post a thread I suggest you go get a life and annoy someone else.. I am currently in taekwondo and am a yellow belt. I like it alot but I also wanna learn jujitsu so that I can learn locks, throws and other moves that arent taught in taekwondo..should I take jujitsu and tae kwon do at the same time or not? Will it mess up my Tae kwon do Training? Also, does tae kwon do really work on the streets? Thanks.

Yes TKD works on the streets. For kids or for idiots. If you're in a bar fight then yes, if your in the olympics scoring points then yes. If your up against a expereinced fighter then NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Train in anything else besides TKD. Atleast jujitsu or chin-na. Remember
belts are only good for holding up pants!

Who is this directed at? Maybe less time in the BJj studio and more time finishing the part of 2nd grade "coherent sentences" would be better served for your time.,
I looked at the website and nobody named treehugger is there. Theres some guy who skipped purple and went to brown belt, but then again, under Carlson Gracie, thats the norm.

Far as Mattbla goes, he sent me a private messege:
"why make fun of me back off
i got the birthday photos from a friend wishing me a happy birthday and the carrot cake i really got for my birthday to eat.
so back off leave me alone

Funny, do a search under google images, and waalaa, the exact cake MattBla got for his birthday "to eat" appears, interesting, the guy thats learining disabled was able to interupt his B-day party, take a picture of his cake, scan it or download it, then post it somewhere so it pops up on google's first page. The guy blew his BS sham right there. He should be banned
