I agree... to an extent... I think they would be very different fights. I think Sylvia has a better chance of knocking him out(though Arlovski still is an amazing striker, he lacks the immense height of Sylvia). I think Arlovski/Monson on the ground would be an amazing fight, but I might not give it to AA, I guess we'll just have to see.

Arlovski losing was just one of those crazy situations that sometimes happen in fighting. He had knocked silvia almost unconcious and was concentrating too much on getting the knockout and not paying any attention to his defense. He took a hit and it was over. Just bad luck. It will never happen again.

The forrest v Tito match weas a good fight. I thought that tito was slightly ahead so in my opinion the decision was correct. I am still a big fan of forrest.

The Evan Tanner win was one of the best of the night!! The sneaky armbar. Beautiful.

Arlovsky made a mistake, and I think he knew he made it...

I still can't give Ortiz that win in my head... He ran all over Griffin in the first round. Griffin came out looking tense and kinda spastic, but Ortiz couldn't put him away.

When the second round came, I think Griffin had it in his head that he'd weathered the worst of it, and came out looking very relaxed and ready to fight. By the end of the second round, Ortiz was shying away from Griffin's punches, and was looking pretty flustered because he wasn't able to get him back on the ground.

In the third round... and this is where I lost it... Ortiz won the decision based on points (total crap in a no holds barred competition) that he got from a take down. He took Griffin down, but didn't land a single punch or elbow. Not only that, but Griffin was throwing elbows up from his back! When Ortiz would come down with a strike, he met Griffin's elbow half way.

Sorry, I may not be the ground fighting maestro that some in here are, but in my opinion the only reason Ortiz won that fight was because they can't have the coach of the current "Ultimate Fighter" being plain out, straight up out fought by the new guy.

Next time they fight, Ortiz better come in showing a little more respect. I think if nothing else, Griffin earned that.

I agree... They couldn't have Tito lose on his comeback(especially with the chance of hiim losing to Shamrock, which would put him away for good). I think it was a bull decision also seeing as to how Griffin did more damage with strikes on his back than did Tito who is supposedly the most vicious ground and pound guy in the UFC.
