ok here we go. I fought a Muy Thai stylist who was cornered by the F2 guys outta Gainesville. After trading a leg kick a piece he threw one at my head, after wards i took him down, got a heelhook in TIGHT and popped a lil but he didnt tap, i went for kneebar we scrambled he got side mount i reversed him. I ended up with a heelhook about 2:30 into 1st rd for the tap.

Stephen Ross another partner weighed in at 185 lbs. He fought a 200lb who had won earlier in the night. Ross took him down and dominated and help him there in 69 and side mount switching up. The guy escaped and got to guard, but ross ended the fight with a heelhook around 4 min in 1st rd.

Casey roberts fought a collegiate wrestler next to last fight. casey stunned him with a right early on but the guy did a matt hughes takedown on him slamming him,. casey worked him over from his guard with heels and punches, while the guy seemed lost only trying a can opener. Casey got to feet, and went for kill but was taken down again, which resulted in a stand up cause the guy wasnt tryin to pass or anything. From there casey landed some good knees to the body, and was taken down again but secured an armbar and got the tapout about 5 min into 1st rd.

ANyways they are submission guys with boxing backgrounds we trained at Wichita Falls boxing and at our gym down here with Jason Maxwell of neutral grounds and some others.

Im sure you know this but it wasnt in TX it was in Jacksonville, Florida. the crowd and everyone down there, even hotel ladies were pretty knowledable about MMA was a nice change compared to some events ive been too.

                      Oh, ok.

I thought it was in Texas.

Several times over the last couple of years I missed MMA shows I wanted to see because I didn't hear about them until after the fact.
