Hehe I have been starting to realize that, slowly but surely. Its unfortunate, but considering I enjoy debate, maybee a little convenient at the same time

Hit the nail on the head. Martial arts are (in my mind of course) a way for personal improvement, both mentaly and physicly. Thats one reason I stayed away from WTF taekwondo, as it is so refined as a sport it has lost everything besides that aspect (again this is based on my personal experience with WTF schools, obviously some will be better than others).

edit(to avoid triple posting) - I am however, encouraged by the poll results. I was thinking posting in the BJJ forum might waver the results a bit, but so far so good.
