You picked Arona too lose? Idiot.

I also noted it would be an upset, and it isnt a bad pick since arona is horrible on his feet and thats right where overeem likes to be, tool

Arona is horrible on his feet? Did you see his fight? He knocked down Overeem with a leg kick. And he's never been knocked down or KTFO standing. Besides, Overeem just got KTFO by Lil Nog... lol what a tool!

Lil Nog's striking is NOT a joke. The guy can stand up and fight for sure.

I had higher hopes for Overeem, thought he'd make a better fight of it. I don't really like watching Arona's fights, not that exciting for me.

I actually think Chuck would get beat by any of the four guys from the open weight tournament. I think if Chuck does fight one of those guys a lot of weaknesses in him will be shown a la his fight with Rampage, where he got schooled in every aspect of the fight. I think Chuck has been somewhat overrated by the American/UFC publicity machine, if he fought in PRIDE regularly against those monsters I don't think things would go so well for him.

This is a sport and anything can happen on any given day. Remember that Kevin Randleman, the formidable striker that he is, knocked out Crocop not that long ago. I think it would go the other way most of the time (and it did soon after) but he's not invulnerable, noone is.

I'd be really curious to see where Frank Shamrock stands against the current group of top LHW fighters. I think he would be be up there, maybe champ, maybe not, but definitely up there. I still think he's the most complete fighter I've seen, even thought he left the UFC many years ago. And only fights cans now.

Yes he is horrible on feet compared to Overeem. Period. So what , he won the fight or won the stand up, big deal, 7 outta 10 times, Overeem wins that part of the action. On the ground, Arona is phenomenal, Overeem sucks.
Who has Arona beat while standing? Far as I know, this is his 1st victory due to strikes or kicks. Dumb ass

Hes not overrated at all, he KTFO everyone they put in there, includng Randy twice. Chuck did fight in Pride and did very well, he got rocked and almost KO'd by Overeem, but mangaged to hold on and get his own KO in. Against the bigger guys, especailly big Nog, he'd get killed. Cropcop and Chuck would be some good action though

Crocrop is one hell of a fighter now. I think he would own chuck.

Fighters are constantly improving their stand up especially when their grappling is already top notch, like Arona. You'd think after training with Belfort, the Nogueira bros, Filho, Bustamante, etc. for a while that your stand up striking would improve leaps and bounds. And then you ask who he has beat standing? Well, he's knocked down Silva a couple times, KO'd Sakuraba, owned Ramage(until he got power bombed), duked it out with Fedor, but has never actually finished anyone Liddell style on the feet. Thats not his specialty, kinda like how Hughes always goes to the ground. And BTW, you make it seem like Arona beat Overeem on the feet with strikes, when it was from a back mount, dumbass.

Cro Cop is a great sportsman and he's one of my favorite fighters now, he even invited Barnett to come train with him in Croatia and he also cried after he won since he was so determined to win and he finally did. CC was also sorry that Silva was hurt and that it was not his intention. Him and Fedor definetly have the most class.

                      Josh Barnett VS Nogueira

                      Emelianenko VS Kharitonov

You need to watch this too. A head bouncing back and forth from knee strikes on the ground is just absolute perfection.
