thats penn spaking hughes for 2 rounds, then gassing and looking like Royce did when he faught Hughes. Hughes, once again, gets the title handed to him.

Wow, would BJ Penn please do some cardio or would they just give GSP another shot. I think it is time for Hughes to give up the title. He is not that great.

Not that I don't think that there's clearly blood in the water(Hughes showed in the BJ fight that he's not invincible), but they still have to take the title FROM Hughes...he doesn't need to give it up.

Yeah - seeing that Hughes delivered 43 (by my count) unanswered blows to the head... I don't think he has to "give up" anything.

Would've liked to see Penn win, but he just gassed out. Hughes won hands down.

Of course, I wouldnt expect him to "Give it up" but he will get beaten soon. Someone will "take" it. Cardio, hmm, I think GSP has some of that, and more skill. Hughes spends too much time rolling around with that ogre Silvia. Whos the real maniac?

You can see the fight there. Hurry before it gets removed.

BTW, BJ is now saying it wasn't fatigue that did him in, but a rib injury. Apparently he pulled something in his ribs at the end of the 2nd.

hughes really did get saved by that bell at the end of the second round.

and im not sure what to make of the time out after bj hit matt in the eye. i mean shit, its a fight. your going to get hurt, its up to the warrior to deal with it under pressure.

yeah hughes got owned but must have hit penn hard in the ribs for penn to have given up like that. hughes will definetly train alot harder on submissions, he definetly lacks in that department. he has alot to improve on

...but was the winner of the fight; the only statistic that really matters when you get down to it.

No way did Matt get saved by the bell. If you look closely he was already on the way out of danger when the bell rang.

Also, when a fighter is injured by an ILLEGAL technique it is in the rules as it should be that the fighter gets some time to recover.
