  • Brandon Vera

Well this guys last few fights he is just killing people, absolutely destroying them. He wiped the mat with Mir who fights for that prick Laiton.
Vera will take the title in both heavy and light heavy, he has the heighth and the skill to do it. Very impressive fighter. Im 100% sure he would KILL Liddell if he drops 25lbs.

I'm not so sure about the double titles thing but absolutely nobody is talking about is BJJ and wrestling skills because he has never had to use them.

A friend of mine, Brandon Ruiz, is a world class Greco guy and knows Vera from wrestling at that level. The guy is A-Level when it comes to greco and wrestling in general.

He is also potentially one of the better Jiu-Jitsu stylists from 205 on up in the UFC. Seriously, the guy's ground game is incredible.

So, what happens when he is forced outside of his striking comfort zone? Will he have any skills to fall back on? Uhmmm . . . yup.

I see nothing but upside for Vera. The guy is incredible.

lol just like Randy's comments at the last UFC, and several other places...

I knew Vera as a greco-roman wrestler before I knew of him as a fighter....

Vera is gonna do big things, I hope to hell he knocks the shit out of stall and sprawl sylvia.

I heard he is a brown or black belt in BJJ to go along with the wrestling, striking, etc game that he has

Actually Vera once said that he is way more comfortable on the ground than standing, so I guess we'll see good things once one of his fights go down there

Brandon Ruiz or Brandon Vera . . . if Vera, and I assume you do mean Vera, I have no idea. If Ruiz, he took third in the qualifiers (2nd last time) in his division. He continuaously seems to be half a hitch away from winning.
