not everyone lives their life according to the bible tom. in fact i think christians only make up like what, 20-30 percent of earths population? so please, worry about yourself and dont tell other people what is right and wrong based on your personal interpretation of a book that is known to have been edited many times by different people during time, with their own agendas and its contents have also been hand selected by officials with their own beliefs and agendas who disrcarded entire books and portions they didnt feel were in line with their beliefs.

I think most of you guys are showing your academic, more mature sides on this topic. Its great that you guys can demonstrate such a fair and liberal attitude towards people who are of a different sexual orientation.

That being said, I really must say that nearly all of you are full of shit. While its noble to refrain from outwardly directing hate at any group, I know that most of you, if not ALL of you would have a problem rolling with a guy who is flamboyantly gay. The minute he came out wearing ANY apparel that was pink, or any sequins or feathers you'd opt to not roll with him. haha, there are so many different versions of the bible, some saying things completely different from eachother. and i wasnt even talking about translation errors. the bibles actual contents have been edited by many different people over time.

the only reason it didnt make it into cannon scripture was because it didnt fit into the "agendas" of the people who were selecting and discarding books in putting together the cannon bible. i find it suspect that the church, one of the richest and most powerful institutions in the world, would have a problem with a book depicting jesus as teaching his displices that there are multiple paths to god and for them to find their own way.

im not claiming anything to be right or wrong, but if you are going to put your entire faith into something then i suggest you ask yourself the tough questions.
