well first off this guys backround in ma must be way more than just karate since they say he has blackbelts in 6 arts.

second, if you noticed, it didnt come down to technique or art. he overcame his opponent because he had confidence and reacted quickly. he was successful because martial arts had made him a stronger human being overall.
