Ofcourse it's better than ufc. UFC sucks bigtime anyway. But better than Pride 32? No chance in hell. This was one of the worse pride shows I've watched in a while man.. all the fighters weren't fighting like they should.

Silva had strep-throat btw. He was in the hospital or something 2 days before the match.
And anyone here whos ever thrown a punch would agree with me, that Diaz should have knocked out Gomi with his hands down all that time. instead of pushing his face about 30 times.

I agree on the UFC thing but Pride 32, the Real Deal, was crap compared to this event. I know thats my opinion, but many many other fans seem to think so too. Go to UG and youll see what im talking about.

The Real Deal had...

Fedor vs Mark Coleman 2.... It was great to see Fedor fight, but we all knew who was gonna win.

Villasenor vs Lawler..... Flash KO, though not really shocking.

Baroni vs Nishijima... Baroni won by sub, first round, not entertaining. If he would have stood with Nishijima then it would have been exciting.

Henderson vs Belfort, it was a good fight, which mostly consisted of Vitor getting controlled all 3 rounds.

Butterbean vs O'hare.... a stupid freakshow match up. lasted 30 seconds.

Shogun vs Randleman.... This could have been a great fight but it just didnt deliver, very dissapointing.

Barnett vs Nastula.... competitive fight, Barnett did alot poorly then i expected but still got the job done.

That was PRIDE 32, still NOT NEARLY as intense as PRIDE 33 was.

I do agree that some of the fighters didnt fight to their potential, like Gomi, Overeem, and maybe Silva, but that didnt make the fights boring at all.

Throughout watching the PPV, there was like 20 "Holy Shit!" moments. Most events only have like 1 or 2, and usually consisted of Hughes or Silva getting KTFO.
