My Wife Kicks Ass!

Sorry, I'm just really proud of my wife.

Yesterday she fought her first Savate Kickboxing match in our USA x CANADA matches in PA.

She fought a pretty tough experienced Canadian fighter (I remember her from when I fought in Paris) and it was hands-down the most exciting and technical of all the matches!
There were great exchanges, beautiful hand and foot combos and expert defense. Both fighters really put on a great show.

The match was a DRAW but I know both fighters and coaches went home happy.

It was awesome to work the corner for my wife.

What's really cool (and the reason I say my wife kicks ass) is that she can compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu one month (she was just awarded her Blue Belt by Royler this year) then crawl in the ring and do beautiful kickboxing the next month; then she can also stick & knife fight to round it off!

I remember when we first met and she asked me "what is martial arts?".

Now I've got my own little "Femme Nikita". :-)
