Did not see much technique really, except for the takedown and positioning,

but the kid new how to apply the SAS of fighting ( Speed , aggression and surprise )

dont know if it could have been solved any other way, just saw the vid, was there a write up of what happened and what led up to it?

Personally, I think martial arts should be used for self-protection only.

Unless this was an extreme case of bullying where life threats were made and the kid felt like his life was in danger, I don't think the beat down was warranted. The little guy could have been the "bigger man" and worked this another way...

I read a little of the story on Sherdog.

The kid in the video got hassled and called out repeatedly by one of the school's problem bullies; they agreed to meet up for a one on one and here's how it went down....
